Wanderer's Well RPG Battlemap

A good place to take a break on the trip. This spring of freshwater has two basins carved into the stone: one for people and the other at the bottom for your mount to replenish itself. The water is always clean and fresh, running down through the base into an underground stream.

It is said that the Saint of Travellers herself sprouted water here with a touch of her staff (or with a kick, depending on who's telling the story). Inspired by the legend, a merchant who was saved by the spring commissioned a statue of the saint and installed it above the well.

The laws of hospitality and pilgrimage protect this place as a sanctuary of peace and rest. But the protection is much more a matter of respect than of practicality. Anyway, who would be so hateful as to set up an ambush here? We are totally safe, right?
